Great ideas for families! Good tips and resources. I might need to practice some brain training games. Right now, trying to finish school,get grades and special reports done, this class and debate, and pack for the summer, I feel like I have lost mine.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter got a hold of a first grade workbook (she'll be in 1st grade this fall) a few weeks ago. Monday morning at about 10 am, she sat between my wife and I and got to work! Its great to see her enjoyment in learning new things. Those are also some great sites you posted. The internet is full of awesome sites for students to stretch their education outside of school doors. If we make these sites available to kids during the school year: demonstrate then, let the kids explore them, even for a short while, I think we'll find the students more attracted to them later.
